Chris – I work as HR Manager in Germany
Van – I am a Microbiology Professor in Brazil We spend our free time crafting and baking “together”, thanks to video calls!

We grew up among arts and crafts. Our mother and our grandmothers were very talented, and we were willing to learn some of their techniques. Our first common passion was cross-stitch, when we spent a lot of time stitching together with our mother. Back then, we used to buy small amounts of fabric just to complement our embroidery work. Gradually fabrics and threads became more and more present in our lives.
Our love for patchwork and quilting started in June 2001, after visiting a fabric retail store in Germany and going crazy about the patchwork pieces the store owner made. We started small, making a pincushion (which of course are still being used and loved). Suddenly we were already venturing into bigger and wonderful quilting/sewing projects! And with it many, many… so many fabrics, books, machines, and notions.
Our creative process is somewhat different now.
We started to create our own quilting/sewing patterns and fabric designs.
Music, colors, places… everything sparks our creativity, and suddenly new collections are created as if by magic! And the sky is the limit. We aim to inspire others like we have been inspired by great quilters, sewists and designers.
Our patterns are created with great care to provide you with an immersive experience so that you can produce quality pieces while having fun and improving your abilities. They are suitable for beginners (with some knowledge of sewing/piecing) and experienced quilters who may want to refresh or learn new skills.
