Sampa Love Collection

We’ve created this collection as a tribute to our beloved São Paulo, a cosmopolitan city full of challenges. 

São Paulo is the most populous city in Brazil and the capital of the state of São Paulo.

Our initial inspiration was the typical sidewalks we found around the city, which have the shape of the state of São Paulo, and always looked like a patchwork block to us!

The “Sampa Skyline” quilt was also inspired by a drawing that was always in sister Van’s school notebooks when we moved to another state – the São Paulo skyline sitting over a rainbow. I guess it was a way to remember our city.

The Banespa building, which carries the state flag on top, is an iconic building of the city and is right in the center of this endless and beautiful skyline.

And here’s a super tip: You can “ignore” the São Paulo state flag and adapt this skyline to your city!
